Is the British film industry dying?

Hollywood. Bollywood. Pinewood. These are some of the most successful places for a film to be made, placed in America, India and the UK, all of which have a mainly positive reputation. The British film industry has always been a well perceived one (since the 1930s) and often revolutionary, be it from it’s famous James Bond or Harry Potter to its lesser known ones.

Is ‘Batman vs. Superman’ doomed?

I don’t think this is a Superman sequel any more. With so much attention being drawn to Marvel it is only right to talk about DC. Whilst the initial prospect was promising, announcements made by the studios developing this film have quelled my excitement. I fear DC are attempting to overcompensate for their lack of a ‘Justice League’ by bloating ‘Batman vs Superman’. ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘ is the definitive successor of ‘The Avengers’  as it is far superior to ‘Iron Man 3’ or ‘Thor: The Dark World”.
